1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how BloxLounge handles information when you visit bloxlounge.com, contact us or follow a link to another website. It covers website hosting, analytics, email communication and third-party links.

2. Hosting and website delivery

BloxLounge is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you access the website, Cloudflare processes technical information required to deliver and protect it. This can include your IP address, the requested page, the time of the request, routing data, browser and device settings, and network or security information.

We process this data to keep the website available and secure and to prevent abuse. We rely on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Cloudflare provides more information in its Privacy Policy.

3. Ahrefs Web Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how visitors navigate the website. Ahrefs may process the page URL, referrer, browser language, user-agent information and an approximate country or location derived from the IP address. It may also count page views and link clicks, including clicks on listed platforms.

According to Ahrefs, its standard web analytics service does not use cookies or persistent identifiers. The IP address and user-agent are used to create a temporary, salted hash for visitor counting. Ahrefs states that the raw IP address is not stored and that the salt is deleted after 24 hours.

4. Cookies

BloxLounge does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. Ahrefs Web Analytics is used in its cookie-free configuration. Websites you visit after following an external link may use their own cookies under their own policies.

5. Affiliate links and third-party websites

Some links on BloxLounge are affiliate links. The destination URL may contain referral information so the third party can attribute a visit or registration to BloxLounge. We may receive a commission if you use one of these links.

Ahrefs Web Analytics may count the outgoing click before you leave BloxLounge. Once you open a third-party website, that website processes information under its own privacy policy. BloxLounge does not control its data practices or cookies.

6. Contact by email

If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use this information to answer your request and, where necessary, to keep appropriate business or legal records. Please do not send passwords, payment details or other sensitive information by email.

7. Data retention

We retain information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above, to protect the website or to meet legal obligations. Analytics information is retained according to the settings and retention practices of Ahrefs. Technical and security data processed by Cloudflare is retained according to its applicable service settings and policies. Contact emails are deleted when they are no longer needed, unless they must be retained for legal or record-keeping reasons.

8. International processing

Cloudflare and Ahrefs operate internationally. Information processed through their services may therefore be handled outside the European Economic Area. The privacy information linked above provides more details about processing locations and safeguards.

9. Your rights

Depending on the applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, to restrict processing, to receive certain data in a portable format, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
